This is an idea within a larger space of medicine. This is an evergreen venture that is likely to stand the test of market cycles.
Idea: Create a dentist review and appointment booking site for the NAR (US & Canada) market. You can try to monetise via local dentist ads which have among some of the highest CPC (cost per click) rates or you can sell dental consultation packages ie Amazon Prime for dental appointments and medicine.
Here is the traffic for some of the players in this space:
1800dentist.com has ~50K monthly visits
And for Dentistry.com, it is about 220k monthly visits
So needless to say, there is a lot of opportunity in this space.
Especially if you are able come up with a smart, high-margin monetisation strategy.
We will touch on this more at the end.

SEO Keywords
The SEO keywords shared in the report are based on current competition. The websites that I considered for this list were 1800dentist.com & dentistry.com.
There are 2 lists of Keywords here:
Intent based keywords
Context based keywords (LSI)
Intent based keywords are phrases that you’ll want to rank for on Google search. Keywords like “dentists near me“, “dentists who accept medicaid” etc will fall under this category.
To get the most out of Intent based keywords use them in important places like Titles, H1s and subheadings.
In short, build your web pages around these keywords.
Also, if you want to be more aggressive in acquiring customers, you can use “Intent keywords” in your PPC campaigns for search and GDN (Google Display Network) ads.

Context based keywords (LSI) on the other hand are used to indicate to search engines that a particular webpage is about a certain topic. For example a page about dental health will likely have LSI keywords like teeth, insurance, medical, dentists, medicaid etc.
To get the most out of LSI keywords use them in the body text. Keep the density of these keywords to about 1-2% of the total keywords on the page.
In short, add these to your paragraphs and other less important locations.

Blog Content Ideas
With respect to the blog content this is not an exhaustive list by any means. There are a lot of content opportunities that you can exploit.
Also, when you are thinking of content creation think of how you can get people into the top of your funnel first and then get them to convert instead of making a sales pitch from the start. (AARRR Framework - resource)
If you manage to stay on top of your prospective customer’s mind, they will likely remember you when they are making a buying decision. So make sure that you get in front of them often even if the topics are not necessarily directly related to your core product.
Topics like MD vs DDS, teeth whitening etc will get more people to notice your brand.
Lastly, there is only so much you can write about “dental health” so it is a good idea to expand your content marketing scope to include supplementary content that does not directly involve your service.

Quora Marketing (Short Q&As)
Apart from doing tent pole content, it is also important to establish authority on short form content.
This can be as simple as answering questions on Quora.com.
I’ve added this section for primarily 2 reasons.
There is significant Q&A interest from prospects.
A lot of long tail keyword opportunities.
Here are some nuances to keep in mind.
Start by answering 5-6 questions everyday and slowly increase the amount of answers.
Do not add links on your first few answers. Quora might end up shadow banning or even worse completely banning you. You can start adding the links gradually once you have been on the site for 2 weeks or more.
Add your job title preferably as “Co-founder” or “Entrepreneur” and add your domain name as your employer. Example, Steven Smith, Co-Founder at dentalking.com
Ignore “answer requests”; they usually have low ROI.
Give legitimate answers and avoid copy-pasting templated answers initially so that the system doesn’t flag you.
I’ve compiled a list of questions and their Quora links.
Just click on them and start answering.

Influencers, Communities & Affiliates
Products like this grow faster with recommendations and good word of mouth. But again, it is important to choose your audience/referral partner carefully.
For this project, I’ve compiled channels that have wide reach within the NAR for aspirational content like food, travel and hygiene.
I’ve focussed on influencers or content creators from Instagram and YouTube.
You can choose to explore other content sites as well.
The ideal way to go about this would be to sell a plan or a package as a subscription and pay the influencer an affiliate commission.

Growth Strategies
For this, we will follow the AARRR format ie; acquisition, activation, retention, referral and revenue.
Acquisition
Host regular AMAs on health subreddits about dental health.
Offer a free dental guide for anyone who signs up for a trial.
Create a healthy dental routine quiz for people to sign up and play to know how good their dental health routine actually is.
Create an ambassador program where you choose people with good dental health to become a spokesperson for your brand.
Share small placards with the best dental practices and share them near dental offices and pharmacies.
Activation
Ask people to download the app/create their first appointment for a consultation discount.
Give people who post more than 5 reviews some type of a goodie.
Incentivise doctors to ask their patients to review them on your site.
Offer a dental insurance calculator for those who sign up.
Retention
Create a progress chart for people to track their dental health.
Create a calendar for people to track their dental insurance payments and appointments.
Give people free dental care product samples if they stick to your platform. You can get these samples from sponsors.
Referral
Ask people to invite their friends to a free dental health seminar.
Create assets like brush holders with an affiliate link that people can sign up with.
Revenue
Create an “Amazon Prime” subscription type service for dental care services and products.
Help people get the best dental insurance and get an affiliate commission from it.
Sell ad space to local dentists for local search traffic.
There is a lot more that you can do to grow this idea into a full-fledged business.
We’ve barely scratched the surface here.
