Interesting Products š ed.1
This is something I shared with the community a few weeks ago.Ā
The idea is simple; every week Iāll compile 2-3 products that were launched on Product Hunt that week which I believe has potential to become big.
I do this because of 2 things:
These products were very likely built by indie developers on modest budgets, so you can try and build it yourself or even better see if you can partner up with this person(s).Ā
It will expose you to opportunities and ideas that maybe you can apply to the problem that you are solving.
With that out of the way, here are the 3 for this week.
Vitaely.me: Helps you create a landing page with your LinkedIn information.Ā
PH Link: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/vitaely-me
Why I think it is good:Ā
LinkedIn design is not ideal or modern, so a more aesthetic looking design is appealing.Ā
You can do some SEO to make sure you are presented in the way you want to be.
You can add a hire me button and offer some freelancing gigs for potential clients.
It is appalling that this product has (at the time of writing this) just 3 upvotes. I think this developer deserved a lot more upvotes especially since there could be entire social networks built on the idea of a ābetter resumeā.
Just Points: Helps track board game points
PH Link: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/just-points
Why I think it is good:
Board games are big. And post quarantine, it will grow immensely.
You can create leaderboards and manage tournaments or exhibitions.
You can promote upcoming board games and board game tournaments on the app.
The design is a little off but I think the idea is good if you can build some decent traction. Attracting a following must be easy since there is a ready-made market for the product.
Or think of doing this for a popular physical sport that doesnāt have unified stats aggregator or score keeper.
Annotate Meet - Helps annotate screen share for Google Meets.
PH Link: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/annotate-meet
Why I think it is good:
Critical for education purposes.
Useful for UI/UX feedback sessions.
Easy to upsell as a plugin or chrome extension.Ā
The good thing about products like this is the pre-made market for the service since educators or UX designers might already be using Google Meets to run their work lives. If you want to go niche, then go after the 4th or 5th biggest video calls service provider and create the tool specifically for them.
